Dan & Serg are a Sussex-based artistic duo working across painting and photography. United by a fascination with people, their work explores identity, observation and the theatre of everyday life.

 

Serg observes and captures moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Dan transforms those observations through paint, atmosphere and imagination.

 

Alongside creating and exhibiting their own work, Dan & Serg offer bespoke portrait sessions, with the option for selected photographs to become the starting point for an original painting by Dan.

DAN & SERG - THE EXHIBITION - 10/09/2026

Dan & Serg’s first collaborative exhibition, PERSONAE brings together a cast of individuals, each revealing something of themselves while inviting us to look beyond the surface.

​

From intimate portraits and street photography to large-scale figurative paintings, the exhibition explores transformation, identity and the theatre of everyday life.

​

Through two distinct artistic practices, Dan & Serg explore the space between the person captured in a moment and the persona revealed through art.

Dan is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between observation and imagination, with people and the stories they carry at its heart.

Serg is a photographer with an instinct for people, capturing everything from intimate portraits to the unexpected characters and moments he encounters on the street.

BESPOKE PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Dan & Serg offer bespoke portrait sessions for individuals, couples and creatives, creating a carefully considered series of photographs that feel personal, expressive and cinematic.

 

Selected photographs from your sitting can also become the starting point for an original painting by Dan, creating a unique work of art developed through both artists' practices.
